NEVADA CUSTOMARY & REASONABLE FEE STUDY

In September 2016 CAN funded the only public customary & reasonable fee study produced in compliance with the Dodd Frank Act and approved by the Nevada Real Estate Division.  Result of the study can be found HERE.  Thank you to all appraisers who donated to this study.  All appraisers and AMC's are encouraged to review the results to ensure compliance with federal regulations.

OFFICERS NEEDED

CAN is currently seeking nominations for open seats on the Board of Directors. We’re reaching out to our members to fill the available openings.  Officers are nominated and elected through our membership. A position as a Director is a three-year term. A Director is required to attend board meetings, help shape and implement policies and procedures, and vote on items that effect CAN.   Board members make up the five (5) office positions: President; Vice-President; Secretary; Treasurer; and Past President.  This is a rewarding position, one that requires some time commitment, but usually no more than 3-5 hours per month. 

We appreciate your decision to be a CAN member as it shows your care, concern, and pride for the appraisal industry. We believe that all CAN members should have an opportunity to serve on the Board and this is your opportunity! If you, or someone you know, would like to serve on the board please submit a brief biography or letter of recommendation to the nomination committee chair person, Jim Smith (JimSmith@nvappraisers.org).
